Faults or damageDashboard displays an “Engine failure hazard” warning relating to oil pressure. The engine oil level is correct. An AA diagnostic scan recorded codes P025B — open circuit — and P1517 — short circuit to earth, although it has not been confirmed whether these codes are connected to the warning. A possible oil-pressure or oil-pump fault is suspected, but no definitive diagnosis has been made. The rear passenger-side TPMS sensor is also not registering. The clutch and flywheel were replaced at approximately Easter 2026. The vehicle starts and moves, but should not be driven until inspected.

The vehicle starts and moves forwards and backwards through the gears and has not previously been written off. An “Engine failure hazard”/oil-pressure warning is currently displayed, so the vehicle is not being driven and collection or recovery is recommended. The underlying cause has not yet been confirmed. The rear passenger-side tyre-pressure monitoring sensor is also not currently registering.
