William Fletcher is a multi-award-winning CEO known for fusing commercial success with meaningful social impact. He currently leads Car.co.uk, Garage.co.uk, and Trader.co.uk, three high-growth automotive platforms redefining vehicle sales, servicing, and recycling across the UK. A data-driven strategist with a MORSE degree from the University of Warwick, William began his career in finance and analytics with Capital One, Barclays, and TDX Group before moving into retail leadership at Morrisons. In 2013, William became CEO of Recycling Lives, a pioneering social enterprise in waste management. Under his leadership, the company scaled nationally, increased revenues tenfold, and won four Queen’s Awards while maintaining its rehabilitative and environmental mission. This culminated in a successful private equity sale in 2018, cementing William’s reputation as a values-driven growth leader. Recognised with an MBE in 2023 for services to recycling and social enterprise, William also serves as a Judge for The King’s Awards for Enterprise, championing Promoting Opportunity through business.
