How to delete your account
From the Trader app
- Open the Trader app on your device
- Go to Settings
- Open the Account tab
- From the account page, open the Manage tab and follow the steps to delete your account
Contact support
If you can't access the app or prefer to request deletion by email, contact us at help@trader.co.uk. We'll process your request within 48 hours.
What happens when you delete your account
This action cannot be undone. Once your account is deleted, your data will be permanently removed.
Data that will be removed
- Account information (email, name, profile data)
- Listings and saved vehicles
- App settings and preferences
- Connected account details
Before you delete
- Export or save any data you need
- Cancel any active subscriptions linked to your account
- Note that you can create a new account later with the same email if you wish
Your rights
Under data protection laws (e.g. GDPR) you have the right to request deletion of your personal data, export your data, and know what we hold about you. If you have questions, contact us at help@trader.co.uk.
